ST. CHARLES, Mo. – The Winona State University men’s golf team competed at the Lindenwood Invitational for a two day, three round showing. The Warriors placed third shooting a three-round score of 875 (+23), just one stroke behind Indian Hills CC.
Peyton Coahran picked up where he left off for the Warriors carding a three-round score of 210 (-3) to place second individually on the weekend. Luke Maas was next up for WSU shooting a 215 (+2) and finishing top five individually. Diego Olano collected eight total birdies in the three rounds on his way to scoring a 225. Logan Chouinard finished inside the top 20 with a score of 226 (+13) and rounding out the Warriors team was Tyler Johnson shooting a three-round score of 227 collected an eagle and four birdies.
Winona State had three individuals competing on the weekend with freshman Max Jericho leading the way shooting an impressive 218 (+5) on the weekend, finishing in the top ten individually. Tyler Gandrud shot a three-round score of 223 finishing in the top 15 and to round out the Warriors individually was Javier Ramos Casariego shooting a total score of 226 carding 11 total birdies in the three rounds.
Winona State is next in action on Monday, March 24 and Tuesday March 25 when they compete in the NSIC Preview in Blue Springs, Mo.
