Tottenham and Chelsea Eye Move for ‘Frightening’ Aston Villa Star

Aston Villa insist that Morgan Rogers is off the market, amid interest from Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur, according to GIVEMESPORT sources.

Rogers has enjoyed a sensational spell at Villa Park since his move from Championship side Middlesbrough, and he’s naturally starting to attract interest from clubs such as Chelsea and Tottenham. Understandably, Villa won’t want to lose a player of Rogers’ calibre, and if they are under no pressure to sell, they’re entitled to demand a significant fee for the English star.

The 22-year-old has been described as ‘frightening’ by Sky Sports journalist Dan Bardell, and he’s quickly become one of the most exciting prospects in the Premier League. It’s certainly no surprise that clubs are beginning to take a look, but it’s going to be a difficult task to prise him away from the Villans this summer.

Morgan Rogers in action for Aston Villa

According to GIVEMESPORT sources, Aston Villa continue to insist that Rogers is completely off the market in this summer transfer window. Chelsea have been very interested in the English versatile star, while Tottenham also have admiration. Spurs see him a great option after missing out on Morgan Gibbs-White, who signed a new deal at Nottingham Forest.

Morgan Rogers' statistics for Aston Villa this season

Villa are in no mood to enter negotiations for Rogers, especially as he is such an important figure for Unai Emery’s plans after an impressive 2024/2025 season. As it stands, any interested party, such as Tottenham or Chelsea, will likely be quoted in the region of £100m as Villa attempt to deter anyone that wants to try and make a move for him this summer.
