Nobody wants to be that guy.
The guy everyone rolls their eyes at because he takes forever on the golf course.
Ex-pro Spiranac rose to fame on Instagram and X, formerly known as Twitter, boasting more followers on social media than Tiger Woods.
She previously revealed the WM Phoenix Open is uncontrollable but one event could be even rowdier.
Now, the professional golfer turned model has claimed to have played behind the slowest golfer in the world.
She appeared on the Vanity Index Podcast to talk about various topics, including what it was like playing golf with celebrities.
She was asked who the most famous person was who she has ever golfed with.
Her answer gave more than just a game, but a critique of this certain A-lister.
“At Genesis they did a celebrity Ryder Cup and my partner was Nick Jonas, and we played against Chris Pratt,” Spiranac explained.
“He was very slow. Might be the slowest golfer I’ve ever played with.
“Super nice guy, unbelievably slow.
“We were like four holes behind on a nine hole little thing, and they were like, ‘You need to speed it up.’
“And he had all these people around him and he’d tell these amazing stories, and we were like, ‘Hit the golf ball. Hit it!'”
Spiranac is no stranger to playing with famous faces.
In 2024, she linked up with two-time major winner Bryson DeChambeau for a collaborative video which went viral among the golf community.
And speaking to talkSPORT at Super Bowl LIX’s ‘Radio Row’, Spiranac reveals she was blown away by the in-person experience.
The American model said: “Being able to play with him in person is outrageous.
“Watching him hit the golf ball, you get breathless. The sound of it, how far it flies… it’s something like you’ve never seen before.
“He’ll hit it a little bit on the toe and he’ll say, ‘Oh man, it’s only going to go 310 yards’. And he’s using my 5 wood!”
But not too many people can say they have golfed with Chris Pratt.
And not too many people probably have the patience to play at Pratt’s pace.
Say that 10 times fast.
The famous actor is no stranger to the sport of golf and seems to really enjoy it.
Less than a year ago he was invited to the Workday Golden Cub Memorial Pro-Am and had a great showing.
“As you all know, I am an incredible golfer, so incredible in fact, I had the honor of playing in the Workday Golden Cub Memorial Pro-Am at Muirfield,” Pratt lightheartedly joked on X last year.
“They only invite the very best golfers in the world. And also me and some famous athletes, so. Peyton Manning was there, Jason Day, Rory McIlroy, Anthony Gonzalez… It was one for the books.”
It’s safe to assume no one will be mistaking Pratt for McIlroy or Scottie Scheffler anytime soon.
Especially Spiranac.
