SMITHVILLE, Mo. – The Minot State women’s golf team shot a 46-over 334 on Saturday and finds itself in 9th place heading into the final round of the NSIC Championships.
Lauryn Keller continues to lead the way for the Beavers as she is tied for 9th at 14-over 158 after an 8-over 80 on Saturday in the second round. Keller shot 6-over 78 on Friday in the first round.
The final round of the NSIC Championships will be Sunday at the Paradise Pointe Golf Complex.
Minnesota State, Mankato leads the tournament by 18 shots at 23-over 605, and the Mavericks’ Emerson Garlie holds a 5-stroke lead on the tournament field at 1-over 145 for the individual title.
As for Minot State, Holly Knudsen is tied for 35th at 233-over 167 (82-85), Taylor Cormier is tied for 40th at 26-over 170 (82-88), Zoe Banack is tied for 43rd at 29-over 173 (92-81), and Abigail Goettle is tied for 52nd at 38-over 182 (90-92).
Minot State shot a 44-over 332 during Friday’s first round and sits at 90-over 666 for the tournament.
