Men’s Golf Set To Tee Off In NCAA Bremerton Regional


BREMERTON, Wash. – The Coastal Carolina men’s golf team will open play at the 2025 NCAA Bremerton Regional on Monday, May 12, at the Gold Mountain Golf Club.  

Six 54-hole regional tournaments will be conducted May 12-14. Thirteen teams and 10 individuals not on those teams will compete at each of three regionals, while the other three regionals will have 14 teams and five individuals not on those teams. The top five teams and the low individual not on those teams will advance to the national finals May 23-28 at Omni La Costa Resort & Spa in Carlsbad, Calif.

The Chanticleers, the No. 12 seed in Bremerton, are part of a 14-team field with five top 30 teams: No. 5 Arizona State, No. 8 Florida, No. 17 Utah (17), No. 20 South Carolina, and No. 29 South Florida.

The Chanticleers are paired with No. 10 seed Kansas State and No. 11 seed Elon in the first round on Monday, starting at the No. 1 tee at 12:25 p.m. ET.
 
Coastal Carolina’s lineup will include seniors Trey Crenshaw and Trace McDonald, junior Max Bengtsson, sophomore Jack Lee and freshman Drew Sykes.
 
CCU, which claimed the Sun Belt Conference’s automatic bid to the NCAA Championship by winning its first conference title since 2018, is making its 13th NCAA Regional appearance. 

The Chanticleers have advanced to the NCAA Championship finals four times, most recently in 2013.
