TWO – Speaking on Go Radio’s Football Show Former Celtic midfielder Peter Grant has questioned whether Motherwell forward Tawanda Maswanhise would be a suitable signing for Celtic, pointing out that the leading scorer in the Scottish Premiership relies on his pace and at Celtic he’d have less space to run into against team’s invariably parking the bus against the Champions.
Every signing has risks Peter but Maswanhise looks like he’d be a real star in the Hoops. Tawanda Maswanhise gave an insight into the player and disagreed with Grant’s point, noting that sides are now playing deeper against Motherwell due to the quality football that the Lanarkshire side is playing this season.

FOUR – Former Celt Filip Benkovic who impressed in the Hoops on a season long loan from Leicester City, has been playing his football in Sweden after his career in England stalled due to various injury concerns. Apparently Benkovic is now on the radar of clubs in the English Championship and also in Scotland after a stand-out year on Swedish football playing for AIK. The player is apparently open to a move back to Britain.

FIVE – Celtic’s option to buy price for Tomas Cvancara has been revealed by respected German outlet Kicker who reveal that should the player impress Celtic (interm manager, assistant manager, Nicholson, Baby Desmond who knows?) then the club will have to pay Borussia Monchengladbach €8m which works out at around £6.97m.
