ELWOOD/EUSTIS-FARNAM – For the first time since the two schools co-oped their sports, the Hi-Line boys golf team is headed to State.
The Bulls qualified their team, winning the D-4 District Championship last week with a score of 334, which was one stroke better than Loomis. The two individual qualifiers for Hi-Line include Zach Whittaker who was the runner up with a score of 75 and Gavin Tilson who finished in 10th place with a score of 85. Hudson Weeder (86), Collin Shutts (88) and Parker Schutz (92) will also be competing at the state competition.
Hi-Line boys golf head coach Dennis Seberger talked with KRVN’s Jon Willis.
State is set to begin Wednesday and end Thursday, with Class D taking place at Quail Run in Columbus.
