Course overview

Delhi Golf Club has been in existence since the 1930s, but the championship course was redesigned in 2019 by Gary Player Design.

The venue has hosted three previous DP World Tour events – the 2008 Indian Masters, the 2015 and 2016 Indian Opens – but the course has also staged numerous Asian Tour events.

Much of the 2019 renovation was on the greens, which were enlarged and made MiniVerde Bermuda. The fairway bunkers were redesigned, a new irrigation system installed, and contouring added to the fairways.

Since the changes, there have been four Asian Tour events at Delhi GC – the 2021 MP Cup, the 2022 and 2023 DGC Open, and the 2024 Vishwa Samudra Open.

This is a tight, tree-lined track.

What will it take to win the India Championship?

Delhi GC remains an extreme test of precision, particularly from the tee, and only the most accurate of drivers can be confident of succeeding on the firm, fast terrain.
