Carnival Golf & Games, which is based inside the Eden Shopping Centre in High Wycombe, was inspected by Buckinghamshire Council on December 3.
The assessors were impressed with what they saw, as they gave the establishment a rating of 5/5 – the highest score possible.
During their examination, it was revealed that Carnival Games’ hygiene/safety and confidence in management were ‘good’ and that its structural compliance was ‘very good’.
The unit, which boasts an eatery, two crazy golf courses, electric dart boards and an arsenal of arcade games, officially opened in the town in August of this year.
Since its unveiling, it has gained a score of 4.8/5 from 61 Google Reviews.

“The carnival course had more interesting mini golf holes.
“The tropical golf course had a better scene, but the actual golf holes were very simple and plain.
“The arcade games were really good, and we loved the top-up cards.
“They were easy to use and swipe on the games.
“Some of the mini golf features were broken, such as the shelter skelter; our ball got stuck in the machine and wouldn’t come back down, but we managed to fix it.”
Another reads: “Played both courses of golf and had a go at the arcade games.
“Loved the crazy golf courses, so much fun for all the family.
“Welcoming and friendly staff, willing to help.
“One of the holes had a problem with the ball coming back out, and as soon as we raised the fault, the staff came over to look at it.
“Great place to go for a couple of hours of fun.”
Andrew Norton, centre director at Eden, said: “Carnival, Golf and Games is a fantastic and fun addition to the range of activities and entertainment available at Eden.
“The brand fits perfectly with our existing operators and gives visitors even more choice when it comes to fun activities with family and friends.
“We are continuing to attract and retain an impressive range of retailers and entertainment offerings to Eden, all of which enhance our visitor experience and ensure we continue to play a vital role as a retail and entertainment destination for the community.”
The unit is next to the Primark outlet inside the shopping centre, which is also a stone’s throw away from the relatively new go-kart track in the town.
