SEARCY — The Harding men’s golf team has been selected to compete in the 2025 NCAA Division II Men’s Golf Central/Midwest Regional Championship, the NCAA Division II Men’s Golf National Committee announced Friday.
This marks the sixth NCAA Regional appearance for the Bisons’ program, which also qualified in 2017, 2018, 2022, 2023, and 2024. Last season, Harding placed third in the regional tournament, earning a spot in the national championship where they finished 13th.
The 2025 regional tournament is scheduled for May 8-10 at the St. Joseph Country Club in St. Joseph, Missouri. The event is being hosted by the St. Joseph Missouri Sports Commission and Missouri Western State University, with a practice round set for May 7.
Harding is one of 10 teams chosen from the Central Region. Other Central Region teams competing include Central Oklahoma, Henderson State, Washburn, Arkansas Tech, Southern Arkansas, Concordia-St. Paul, Winona State, Central Missouri, and Arkansas-Fort Smith.
Four individuals from the Central Region, along with 10 teams and four individuals from the Midwest Region, will also participate in the combined regional event.
The top four teams from the Central/Midwest Regional will advance to compete in the NCAA Division II National Championship finals.
