Foundation for Red Deer Public Schools to host first annual golf tournament

The Foundation for Red Deer Public Schools will hold their first annual golf tournament in August.

On Aug. 24 at Alberta Springs Golf Resort they’re inviting the public to take part in A tournament in hopes of raising funds that will directly benefit students.

“The Foundation for Red Deer Public Schools is committed to enhancing learning experiences and empowering youth by removing barriers and providing vital support beyond standard educational funding,” as written in a media release. “To support this mission, we invite you to participate in the First Annual Foundation for Red Deer Public Schools Golf Tournament. Funds raised will benefit students ensuring they have the tools they need to succeed. Join us in making a lasting impact.”

For $500 per team, there will be a welcome BBQ on arrival and participants will get to play nine holes of golf with a steak dinner to follow.
