Ross Thomson, who has previously visited Mar-a-Lago, is working in corporate sales at the Trump International resort in Aberdeenshire.
A former Scottish Conservative MP has landed a job at one of Donald Trump’s luxury golf courses.
Ross Thomson, 37, is working in corporate sales at the Trump International resort in Aberdeenshire.
The former Tory member for Aberdeen South gushed about his new work place in a post on networking website LinkedIn.
“Against a dramatic North Sea backdrop, our award-winning championship course offers breath-taking scenery and an unparalleled test of golf,” he said.
Thomson is a long-term supporter of the US President and previously shared a picture on social media of his visit to Mar-a-lago last year.
The ex-MP also ran Boris Johnson’s campaign in Scotland to become the Tory party leader in 2019.

Thomson announced in November 2019 he would not seek reelection after he was accused of sexually assaulting a Labour MP in a Commons bar.
He rejected allegations made by Paul Sweeney and claimed he was a victim of a “political smear”.
Thomson was later cleared by Westminster authorities.
The incident was alleged to have happened in the Strangers’ Bar at Westminster in October 2018.
The Parliamentary Commissioner for Standards had said witness statements did not support Sweeney’s version of events.
While she said that Thomson had invaded his accuser’s personal space by leaning on him and repeatedly putting his arm around him, she concluded that this did not amount to being sexually inappropriate.
Trump is expected to visit Scotland this summer as part of a state visit to the UK. The president is set to formally open a second course at his Aberdeenshire golf course.
