Michael House’s signature fundraising event, the Annual Michael House Golf Tournament, is happening at the beautiful Guelph Lakes Golf and Country Club on June 10, 2025.
“For over two decades, Michael House Pregnancy and Parenting Support Services has dedicated itself as a home and resource for women in crisis pregnancy situations. With community partnerships, we provide residential, supportive housing, and aftercare programs based in Guelph,” explained Michael House spokesperson, Karen Kamphuis. “We provide the help they need for the betterment of themselves, their children, and their circumstances.”
This is the 16th annual fundraising golf tournament. The day features 18 holes of golf, shared golf carts, BBQ lunch, a putting contest, a swag bag, steak dinner, and access to an exciting online auction. “Golfers can register solo or with a foursome. The event combines sport, community spirit, and generosity to create a memorable experience that directly supports vulnerable families in need,” said Kamphuis.
The cost to register is just $175 per golfer and includes a charitable tax receipt for $50.
“The Guelph Lakes Course is so scenic, it’s absolutely breathtaking,” enthused Kamphuis. “Our golfers always enjoy the day out in this lovely spot.”
The online auction is open to everyone in the community, not just the golfers, and has a host of wonderful prizes to bid on, including a number of amazing items, experiences, gift cards, and more.
