A Florida-based company that owns dozens of golf courses and country clubs bought The Club at Spurwing in Meridian.
The private club near Chinden and Ten Mile features an 18-hole “championship” course with a swimming pool, fitness facilities, dining options, tennis, and pickleball courts. It is surrounded by luxury homes. At 7,300 yards, it’s the longest private golf course in the region.
Concert Golf Partners bought Spurwing from Meridan-based real estate firm and long-time owner The Sundance Company at an undisclosed price late last week.
“When Concert Golf Partners approached us about acquiring the Club at SpurWing, we had never considered selling the club,” said owner of Sundance Company Chris Anderson. “Once we got to know Concert Golf and how they invest heavily in their clubs, we became convinced that they’re the right partner to take the Club at SpurWing to the next level, while protecting and elevating our community’s home values.”
Concert Golf Partners Senior VP of Operations Aaron Straub tells BoiseDev that no immediate changes are planned for the club, but improvements are on the horizon.
“We are not looking at any changes currently but focused on assessing ways we can increase the member experience through capital projects, amenity enhancements, and service focuses in collaboration with the members and the team on site,” Straub said.
Spurwing is now the 38th club under Concert Golf Partners’ portfolio.

Spurwing opened in 1995 and was owned by its members. According to a 2015 story from Idaho Business Review, it declared bankruptcy in 2011 when Sundance’s Roger Anderson, who held the note on the property, took control.
