MOREHEAD, Ky. —
Morehead State Women’s Golf heads to the Music City this week to play in The Nashville Invitational, hosted by Lipscomb. The Eagles will join 15 other teams to play 36 holes Monday and 18 Tuesday at the President’s Reserve at the Hermitage Golf Course.
It’s the second tournament MSU has taken part in this year hosted by Lipscomb. MSU finished fifth in The Robbie in October, but that was in Alabama.
Morehead State is coming off its trip to Arizona where the Eagles had an impromptu 36 holes after having two rounds of the Red Rocks Invitational halted or canceled. MSU ended up in 8th place in the 18-hole event and then took second among the four teams who stayed around to play another 18-hole event.
Tavia Burgess, Tuva Marie Isebakke and Amelia Rae Greenlee all average 75 or better to lead the squad this season.
