Charlotte Set for Gators Invitational


GAINESVILLE – Charlotte Women’s Golf’s final stop on their Florida spring break swing trip will be to Gainesville (Mar. 7-8) for the Gators Invitational at the Mark Bostick Golf Course. Originally scheduled for 18 holes each day Friday through Sunday, due to weather the tournament has altered to 36 holes on Friday and the final round on Saturday.

Format: 36 holes on Friday and 18 holes on Saturday

LAST TIME OUT

In windy conditions at the Jacksonville Golf & Country Club for the UNF Momentum Transportation Collegiate, Charlotte grinded out an eighth-place finish. Chaisilprungruang was the top finisher at tied for eighth place individually (225, +9) with only two players in the field finishing at even par or under.

Chaisilprungruang opened up the 2025 campaign by winning the Daniel Island Invitational, shooting a program record 13-under 203 (70-66-67) to win the title. She defeated six Top 100 ranked opponents on the way to first place, while guiding Charlotte to a third-place finish above three Top 50 ranked teams. Last semester, she earned American Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Month honors for September.
