Nicolas Jackson is set to return to Chelsea this summer after a season-long loan spell at Bayern Munich, and the German giants have identified who they want to replace the striker.
Jackson’s difficulties have continued over in Germany. Despite his form at Chelsea following a £32m move from Villarreal, Jackson scored at almost a ratio of one every two games, but earned constant criticism.
Joining Bayern for £14m on loan, the German champions boasted a £56m permanent clause in the Senegal star’s deal. For it to become permanent, Jackson had to play 40 times for Bayern this campaign.

Bayern pick player they want to replace Nicolas Jackson
Despite Jackson only scoring five goals, he still represents an important part of the Bayern side as Harry Kane’s back-up, and a replacement is required when Jackson returns to Chelsea at the end of the season.

Over at Leipzig, Yan Diomande has been on fire in front of goal. Playing on either flank, Diomande has had a hand in 15 goals for the Bundesliga club. Leipzig want a whopping £87m fee for the attacker.
While it is not a direct replacement, Diomande is one of the best young talents in German football, and The Sun claim Bayern are interested. In fact, Diomande could have even joined Chelsea as a teen.

Just this week, Diomande shared how he chose Leganes over Chelsea: “A lot of people told me I had to play for Chelsea. I knew the president of Leganes; he had helped with my move to the USA.
“Suddenly, I was faced with a choice: Leganes or Chelsea? It was risky, but luckily, it was the right decision. I think patience is very important in football. It’s not always just about money,” Diomande said recently.
Now, Diomande is set to join Bayern Munich this summer from Leipzig, with a fee of £86m required. The German side have identified Diomande as a replacement for Jackson come the summer transfer window.
