Frank Lampard has made four changes to his Coventry City side including handing January signing Frank Onyeka his debut in tonight’s top-of-the-table clash with Middlesbrough.

Fellow transfer window recruit Jahnoah Markelo is included in the match night squad for the first time at the CBS Arena where there’s no place on the teamsheet for Tottenham loan winger Min-Hyoek Yang.

Bobby Thomas returns to the back four in place of Luke Woolfenden to partner Joel Latibeaudiere at the heart of the defence, while Milan van Ewijk and Jay Dasilva continue at right and left full-back, respectively.

Carl Rushworth continues in goal and Onyeka comes into the midfield alongside skipper Matt Grimes to make his first start for the Sky Blues. Jack Rudoni is another change, coming to replace Josh Eccles in the attacking midfield role while Ephron Mason-Clark makes a welcome return to the left wing in place of Crystal Palace loan player Romain Esse, who drops to the bench.

That leaves Tatsuhiro Sakamoto to keep his place on the right flank and Haji Wright to continue to lead the line ahead of Ellis Simms, who provides back-up amongst the substitutes.

City: Carl Rushworth; Milan van Ewijk, Bobby Thomas, Joel Latibeaudiere, Jay Dasilva; Frank Onyeka, Matt Grimes; Tatsuhiro Sakamoto, Jack Rudoni, Ephron Mason-Clark; Haji Wright.

Subs: Ben Wilson (GK), Liam Kitching, Luke Woolfenden, Jake Bidwell, Josh Eccles, Victor Torp, Jahnoah Markelo, Romain Esse, Ellis Simms.
