Pedro Neto has come in for some criticism of late after struggling for form at Chelsea.
Chelsea continues to go from strength to strength under Liam Rosenior, with the weekend’s win against Wolves showing what we can expect from this side.
One man who struggled against his former club was Pedro Neto, which has been a common theme this season.
What did we make of Pedro Neto’s performance vs Wolves?🤔
Since Rosenior has taken charge at Chelsea, he’s been one of the few players who has almost gone backwards, looking a shadow of the player we saw at times under Enzo Maresca.
Although Neto did put in a respectable performance against West Ham.
Chelsea could look to sell Pedro Neto in the summer
Pedro Neto joined Chelsea for around £54 million in the summer of 2024. He’s registered 16 goals and 13 assists across all competitions since joining, and is already has seven goals and four assists this season.
However, he hasn’t scored since Rosenior’s first game in charge against Charlton Athletic, and his last assist came in the first half against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup.
Well, according to the Daily Mail, Chelsea will have Geovany Quenda, Estevao Willian and Neto as right-wing options, so they could choose to entertain offers for Neto.
Or they may decide it is useful having his experience, rather than leaving Quenda and Estevao to predominantly take care of their right wing.
Harsh on Santos, but at home, let’s get as many attacking players on the pitch as possible 💪
Geovany Quenda’s current situation
Geovany Quenda is currently recovering from a metatarsal fracture sustained in December 2025. While he remains sidelined, he is reportedly in the final stages of his rehabilitation in England.
Before his injury, Quenda was having an exceptional breakout season for Sporting CP, recording 5 goals and 8 assists in 22 appearances across all competitions. Operating primarily as a right winger or wing-back, his creative output and dribbling established him as one of Europe’s top teenagers.
And he’s set to make a £42 million summer transfer to Chelsea, where he is slated to join Liam Rosenior’s first team for the 2026/27 campaign.
