The third round of the 2026 Arnold Palmer Invitational wrapped early Sunday with Akshay Bhatia inching even closer to Daniel Berger, who has held the lead since the onset of the tournament and led by five shots entering Moving Day. Akshay Bhatia, Berger’s chief challenger Saturday, enters the fourth round trailing by one as the final 18 holes commence at Bay Hill Club & Lodge.
Sepp Straka, Cameron Young and Collin Morikawa are all four strokes of the leader. Straka is looking for his second signature event victory, while Morikawa is eyeing his second already this campaign. Min Woo Lee rounds out those players within five strokes, while Ludvig Åberg, Chris Gotterup and Rickie Fowler all find themselves inside the top 10 with an outside chance of slipping on the famed red cardigan.
Not only is there a $4 million winner’s share on the line, but the Arnold Palmer Invitational winner will add his name alongside the likes of Rory McIlroy (who withdrew on Saturday), Tiger Woods, Scottie Scheffler and many other famous winners who have conquered Arnie’s Place over the years.
