The 2025 Rocket Classic leaderboard remains tight entering the final 18 holes, though after three days of play, Aldrich Potgieter has managed to separate himself ever so slightly from the pack. Potgieter takes a two-shot lead into Sunday’s final round seeking to go low once again on his way to entering a PGA Tour winner’s circle for the first time in his career.
While transversing Detroit Golf Club one last time, Potgieter will be forced to battle against five golfers sitting immediately behind him and 11, including Collin Morikawa, who begin the day within four shots of the top of the leaderboard. Despite playing with a temporary caddie, Morikawa has played some of his best golf of the season in Detroit. As he eyes his first victory in two years and an accumulation of Ryder Cup points that will allow him to automatically qualify for the international event in late September, Morikawa will have to put together quite a round while simultaneously hoping multiple golfers struggle to keep up.
