KANSAS CITY, Mo. – British Columbia retained the top spot in the 2024-25 NAIA Women’s Golf Coaches’ Top 25 Rating, gaining three first-place votes, 14 in all, and a 10-point edge over No. 2 Keiser (Fla.), who had the top position in the fall.
SCAD-Savannah (Ga.) stayed at No. 3, and the only shuffle in the top five was Dalton State (Ga.), up three spots to No. 4. No. 5 Marian held its position, tied with Lindsey Wilson (Ky.), while Texas Wesleyan checked in at No. 7, followed by Oklahoma City, SCAD-Atlanta (Ga.) and Milligan (Tenn.) at Nos. 8, 9, and 10, respectively.
One team joined the Top 25, as Lewis-Clark State (Idaho) moved in at No. 25 in the fourth regular-season edition of the rating.
Rating Methodology
- The rating was voted upon by a panel of head coaches representing each of the conferences, and each conference is represented by one rater.
- The Top 25 is determined by a points system based on how each rater ranks teams. A team receives 30 points for each first-place vote, 29 for second-place and so on through the list.
- The highest and lowest ranking for each team (a non-rating is considered a low rating) is removed, and the team’s ranking will be recalculated with an additional point added to each team for every ballot (including discounted ballots) that the team appears on.
- Teams that receive only one point in the ballot are not considered receiving votes.
